Bengkel Merdeka (Merdeka Workshop) was founded on 1981 as a direct answer to the needs of engine overhaul solution back then. Mid 1989, PT Buana Merdeka Jaya developed a new division, Fabrication Solution to provides professional services for custom tools development and tools repair solution for manufacturing companies. Within only two years of running the Fabrication Solution Division, PT Buana Merdeka Jaya take a leap ahead by creating another solution division, the Component Manufacturing Solution.
PT Buana Merdeka Jaya has always been on the cutting edge of technological advancements such that purchased it’s first CNC (Computer Numerical Control) on 1989, and constantly seeks to develop its human resources. In addition, PT Buana Merdeka Jaya has achieved the following international standard certifications in quality management systems: ISO 9001:2000 and 9001:2008.
